Many who embark on a journey of wellness and health, find out all kinds of interesting bits and pieces of information. As I share information, keep in mind, I am not a professional nutritionist, fitness guru, trainer, chef or otherwise. I am an everyday person who was diagnosed with MS at age 49 and I am working to fight it's progression one day at a time. Here are the stories of my life. Maybe you'll like 'em and maybe you won't. But my hope is, someone, somewhere is googling, like I did when I was first diagnosed with MS and so desperately needed information - and here you might find a little hope. Perhaps some nugget of something, that makes the googling worth it and maybe helps to chase some fears away and get some sleep.
Welcome to my HOOG!

DAy 5 - without coffee, no crash today!

Today I celebrate no crash in my energy. At no time did I feel like I needed to nap. It was awesome.
Here is the short scoop on the day and contributing factors.

Bedtime/Sleep/Rest/Rested: I did NOT sleep well. Up at 2:20 and 5:00 AM. Why I do not know. I did however have a headache brewing. I took something at 5:00 AM and generally something like develops into a migraine for me. But today it did not.
Food: For the last few days I have felt bloated and just uncomfortable, so I decided to do bone broth for the day. I did it all day and then had a small dinner.  Three bacon strips, three small gluten free pancakes with ghee on them - lots of it.  Tea and water the rest of the day and one kombucha in the afternoon.
Coffee: None - But late in the day when life was NOT going well with the kids and some holiday planning - I really wanted a cup!
Sugar: No sugar searching happened. I was good.
Water: Check - doing it. Still challenging.
Movement : Check - Walked on Siesta Key this morning and it was lovely. How lucky am I that I live so close.
Schedule: Was good this morning and this afternoon it grabbed me by the tail and tried to run away with me...............but even with challenges I pulled it back in.

5 Days - feeling pretty proud.
I am kind of excited to see how my energy is tomorrow. I might be doing a bone broth day again tomorrow too. We will see. I feel worlds better today.
Onward,
Amy
