I am super excited to share with you my interview with Ringling College of Art and Design student Oliver Lin. I am filing this story under Wellness Wednesday because he is a student who is, like all of us, living thru a Pandemic. Oliver is an international student. The Pandemic of Covid 19 affected him and his family in different ways than it affects me and my family. Oliver is from Taiwan and he shared with me the Pandemic from his point of view. And he shared what it was like to be so far from home when the pandemic was declared, and what it was like to travel home in May of this past summer. Additionally - we talk about how and why Taiwan reacted to early rumblings of an illness so quickly and how that was so different from how the US leadership down played Covid-19.
I was inspired to chat with Oliver and record out conversation after seeing an interview on GPS with Fareed Zakaria. On Sept 23, 2020 - Fareed is joined by former Taiwanese Vice President Chen Chien-Jen

This girl had me smiling the day I interviewed her back in August and she had me smiling again as I finally edited her interview this past December on a flight home from Christmas. Aubrey and I met the day I stopped into Lakeside Fitness in Syracuse, In to introduce myself and Hoola Fit to them. Before meeting the owner, I had the opportunity to chat with Aubrey Eastway the front desk person. She was really nice, very helpful and I sensed that she had a story to tell. After chatting with her, I found out that Aubrey was about to compete in a Bodybuilding contest in Ft. Wayne, In. Her first contest ever. I also found out that Aubrey had come a long way to get to the competition door. Meet Aubrey - You will love her as much as I did!
